Wild & Scenic Film Festival in Prescott!
Elks Theatre, Saturday, January 18th, 3:30 and 6:30 PM
Check out this year’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival at the historic Elks Theatre in downtown Prescott on Saturday, January 18th! This event features two showings with the option of a double feature. The afternoon showing is from 3:30-5:30PM and the evening showing is from 6:30-8PM.
Friends of the Verde River, in partnership with Prescott Creeks and Citizens Water Advocacy Group, present this Wild & Scenic Film Festival. Local conservation nonprofits invite you to experience the unique stories and adventures through amazing films that illustrate the Earth’s beauty, the challenges facing our planet and the communities working to protect it. Come out and see films such as Cowboys & Scientists, Your Rivers Need You, and Forest on Fire.
Visit https://verderiver.org/wild-scenic/ for ticket sales and the full line-up for the Wild and Scenic Film Festival.
If you or your business would like to sponsor tickets for youth and families who otherwise can’t afford the tickets, please contact Laura Jones, Friends of the Verde River Coordinator for Community Engagement at (928) 451-6860 or LauraJ@VerdeRiver.org.
Come out, meet your community, and support the protection and restoration of our cherished wild and scenic places!
