Consider joining the Save the Dells Committee and use your skills to help our cause (reply to this newsletter to set up a meeting with us);

Talk to your friends and neighbors about how grassroots activism can affect local and regional outcomes and how elected leaders play a critical role in how changes in leadership can advance causes the most.

Sit down with, call, or write to city and regional elected officials. Thank them for their good work, tell them your concerns, and provide possible solutions.

Run for office or find your place on a municipal or citizen committee.

Take the State Route 69 Corridor Survey
Complete the survey at this link. Emphasize your concerns about bike paths, other forms of non-motorized travel, and safe passage for wildlife.

Comment on the Effluent Tank, Pipeline, & SR89 Improvements Project
City staff state that the roadway through the Granite Dells need not be widened to update the effluent system. The City plans to start construction in the spring of 2026, and complete construction in late 2027. The community survey has closed, but you can give feedback to the Prescott City Council. Vote in the 2024 Primary & General Elections
Save the Dells has seen firsthand that electing effective leadership moves progress in the land and water conservation arenas. This year candidates are vying for Prescott Valley Town Council, the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors seats, and some state positions.
